doctoral student at the NAIADE chair
Luca is a doctoral student at the NAIADE chair. He has been recruited by our partner Thales to write a thesis on the topic of: “Acceptability, explicability, appropriation of AI in naval systems”. Luca Morgaud is a psychologist specializing in the evaluation of human cognition, its normal functioning and its dysfunctions (from attention disorders to learning difficulties) thanks to new technologies (VR, AI etc…) using a neuropsychological approach. Thanks to two internships at the French Naval Academy, he already has a good understanding of sailor training and their needs. Among other things, he has expertise analyzing leaders from a human factors perspective (categorization of psychological factors leading to human error on the bridge of a ship, design of complex teaching scenarios on a simulator).
